Local processing, with clear boundaries.
This interface performs candidate discovery and model analysis on your device. It does not send note content or custom prompts to a remote model during review.
Your note and prompt
The workspace keeps note text, prompt drafts and review results in the current tab's memory. The interface does not save them to an account or persist them in its browser-storage features.
Same-tab navigation from the workspace to information pages keeps that session in memory, including the loaded model. Returning to Workspace restores your review. Refreshing the page, closing the tab or the browser reclaiming memory may clear it; there is no automatic note persistence.
Clear note removes the text from the workspace. To also release local model memory, unload the model or close the tab. Browser recovery, extensions and operating-system behavior are outside this interface's control.
Model and site downloads
The site, coding data and model files are downloaded over the network. Model files may be stored in your browser's local cache; they are not patient notes.
The hosting service and model download provider can receive ordinary request information such as an IP address. The app does not include your note in these download requests.
Things you control
- Use synthetic or appropriately de-identified examples until your organization's rules permit real documentation.
- Avoid unnecessary patient identifiers. Process only information you are authorized to use.
- Check browser extensions, screen sharing and the device's access controls.
- Copy selected results only when appropriate. Code descriptions themselves can reveal sensitive health information.
- Use your browser's site-data controls if you want to remove cached model files. A future load may download them again.
Local is not a compliance guarantee
On-device processing reduces the need to transmit note content, but it does not by itself establish compliance, a contractual privacy commitment or suitability for your environment. Follow your organization's privacy, security and documentation requirements.
The tool does not guarantee complete erasure from device memory, browser backups or clipboard history. Do not treat Clear note as a system-wide deletion operation.
Optional project support
The support link opens NoteCoder on Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab. That third-party site handles contributions under its own privacy and payment policies. NoteCoder does not embed its payment widget or load its tracking scripts.
The link does not include your note, prompt or results. Simply viewing this site does not contact Buy Me a Coffee through that link. Do not paste clinical information into a support message.
Why an internet connection is still used
Opening the app loads page assets and a packaged coding index. Loading a model downloads or opens its cached weights and supporting files. Notes are passed to local browser workers for matching and inference, not included in those asset requests. Offline availability is not guaranteed.
